SEVEN DAY INTRODUCTION TO BIODYNAMICS
We offer a simple introduction to some of the Biodynamic concepts and physical practice. Each day involves theory in the morning and practical application in the afternoon. The days reflect the Seasons and the planetary influences of the day. The course is aimed at those wanting to explore some of the basic ideas of Biodynamics and also learn the practical application of them. We hope it will provide a useful step into other full time training opportunities.
Spencer Christy (Farm Director and BDAA Trustee) will host the course along with Andre and Monique Kleinjans who also work on the farm and bring a combined experience of over sixty years in biodynamic practice. In addition, guest lecturer Patrick Dixon (anthroposophical researcher) and the Seed Co-Operative contribute to make this a very rich course..
Patrick is an Anthroposophical researcher, writer and actor. For the last few years he has been focusing on research into honey bees and the insect world. He has delivered many talks and lectures at Steiner House, Emerson college and other venues.
The cost for each day is £65 and they can be taken individually or as a pre-paid block for £400. Lunch is bring and share with refreshments provided. The nearest station is Witham, which is forty-five minutes from London.
