Educational Farm Walks
Lauriston Farm is situated on the Blackwater Estuary just outside Goldhanger in Essex. It is a 220 acre holding with full Biodynamic status and rare breed cattle and sheep, bee hives, laying hens, vegetables and woodland.
Ninety five percent of the farm is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Within this, there are also two listed ancient monuments dating back over two thousand years.
We take great pride in showing people around with a typical tour having a minimum of six people and lasting for two hours. There is a short introductory talk, an hour or so taking in all of the above through a relaxed and enjoyable walk and a cup of tea afterwards.
The charge for this is £30 for six people and then an additional £3 per person over this. We offer these walks all year, every day of the week except Sundays. All the walks need to be pre-booked and we look forward to hearing from you.
